Dina Cheney is the author of Tasting Club (DK, 2006) and Williams-Sonoma New Flavors for Salads (Oxmoor House, 2009), as well as a freelance writer, recipe developer, culinary consultant, and tasting host. Her articles have appeared in Cooking Light, Fine Cooking, Everyday with Rachael Ray, Plenty, iVillage.com, Connecticut Cottages & Gardens (for which she was a contributing editor/monthly columnist for over three years), The Huffington Post, and more. She has conducted dozens of tastings and talks all over the country, and--previously--taught hundreds of students to cook through her business, Cooking by Heart.

Dina graduated from Columbia College, Columbia University (Anthropology/English Literature) and the Institute of Culinary Education Career program. Prior to entering the culinary profession, Dina worked in marketing and public relations, writing marketing materials, creating market analyses, and carrying out media relations.
